Kevin has been playing music since the age of six, when his parents brought musical instruments home, or when he suddenly noticed them all around him. Kevin spent many years learning what sounds he enjoyed and what musical styles he preferred on many different instruments, realizing that every style of music appealed to him. From his early days of gospel music and musical drama's, to playing with Black Diamond, Kevin has had exposure to many musical styles. While operating a jingle studio for commercial advertising, he met James Craig for the first time. This relationship lead to a strong musical and personal bond that would prove to be the musical and technical glue needed to guide Jake Break on its path of bringing superior sound and lighting to smaller venues, with technology only thought available to larger shows. The result of this relationship is evident when all three members perform and there is only one sound, a well oiled machine, orchestrated and controlled, energy and emotion, dedication and desire. Kevin feels that Jake Break is a result of a musical match that is so rare, it would take the efforts of many people with unlimited resources to duplicate what takes place each night they perform.
