Corey provides a solid foundation of percussion to Jakebreak. Coming from a musical family background and growing up listening to Black Diamond practicing in his living room there was nothing more for him to do but to play music himself. Corey started his first band in JR high called Wellard with some close friends. But it wasn't until a band he was in called Moving Violations won the 1992 battle of the Bands that made him want to pursue his music career even farther. In 1994 he moved to Stoney Creek ON to take Audio engineering. While attending school he was asked to move to Manitoba to record a CD. During this time he meet and recorded with Nazeem Lakay formally of Warner music's Wild T and The Spirit and formed the Band SAUNTRY. The out come was the CD entitled beast of love. After the break up of Sauntry, Corey took some time off and waited for the right opportunity to arise to get back into music. And in 2002 he was asked to be the third member of Jakebreak.
